What we can prove, and what we cannot prove yet.
GrantPing started sending digests in September 2026. No subscriber has finished an application cycle with it, so there are no funding outcomes to report and no testimonials on this page. Everything below is a number you can check yourself.
The finding the product is built on
NIH funding announcements sampled on 2 September 2026 had an application deadline a computer could read.

The date NIH does publish in a machine-readable field is expdate, the day the announcement stops existing. That is not a deadline. Treating it as one puts the date months or years past the day you actually have to submit.

Grants.gov remains the authoritative source for every listing. GrantPing is independent and is not endorsed by or connected to any federal agency. Verify details with the issuing agency before you rely on them.
What we do not have yet
- No subscriber outcomes. The product is weeks old and federal application cycles are months long.
- No win rate, and we would be suspicious of anyone this early who claimed one.
- No testimonials. When we publish stories they will come from named people who sent them to us and agreed to publication. We will not write them, paraphrase them into praise, or run them anonymously to pad this page.
- Coverage is not complete. Grants.gov is paged at a fixed depth per refresh, so listings can lag the source.

Including the unflattering parts. A digest that surfaced nothing useful for six weeks is as worth publishing as one that found something.
